Welcome!

The Children's Department of McAllen Public Library serves the recreational reading and research needs of children and young adults, ages birth to 17 years, with a collection of over 30,000 books and audio CDs, including items in Spanish and bilingual (English/Spanish) books. Children's DVDs are also available.

Featured Event

School aged children and their caregivers can enjoy listening to 4-5 stories and then top off the evening with a matching craft.
