“Reel Seniors” Movie Series.
McAllen, TX, January 29, 2010 – The McAllen Memorial [Main] Library presents the “Reel Seniors” Movie Series, for the senior set and general audiences, on the second Wednesday of the month, from February through May 2010.
Movies will be shown at 10:00 am, free of charge in the exhibit room on the 1st floor of the Main Library. Seating and free popcorn are limited, so come early!
- February 10, 2010 Casablanca (rated PG)
Set in unoccupied Africa during the early days of World War II: An American expatriate meets a former lover, with unforeseen complications. - March 10, 2010 Barefoot in the Park (rated G)
A conservative young lawyer marries a vivacious young woman. Their highly passionate relationship descends into comical discord in a five-flight New York City walk-up apartment. - April 14, 2010 The Maltese Falcon (rated PG)
