McAllen Public Library Launces New Mobile App, MPL Digital

Posted March 01, 2017

McAllen Public Library is proud to announce the launch of MPL Digital, a mobile app to put the library at your fingertips. From a mobile phone, patrons can instantly tap into MPL library resources, anytime, anywhere. The free app is available for Android and Apple devices.

Want to renew a book or place one on hold? The MPL Digital app does that! Want to know the library hours or locations? The app does that too. Patrons can also check their account and find out what programs are happening at the library with one-click access from a mobile phone.

“By offering a new mobile app, McAllen Public Library can further promote literacy and improve outcomes by providing the libraries’ trusted services to citizens on any mobile device,” Library Director, Kate Horan said.
