McAllen Public Library Presents First-Ever Spanish Book Fair
McAllen, TX, July 6, 2010 – McAllen Public Library’s ¡Domingos Divertidos! series of Sunday “fundays” for the family continues with its first-ever Spanish Book Fair. The fair will take place at the McAllen Convention Center on Sunday, July 11, 12-6PM. There is no cost of admission and all are welcome.
Spend a Sunday afternoon with la familia browsing a wide selection of new and used Spanish language books, while listening to the music styling of DJ Tek. The booksellers that will be on site are:
Barnes & Noble
Comertex Corporation
Viva Life Book Shop
Pinelo Books
Friends of McAllen Memorial Library
La Lupe 89.1 FM / 620 AM will also be on site to deliver a remote broadcast of all the fun going on at the fair, including appearances by:
René Saldaña, 2:00PM
author of the new bilingual children’s book The Case of the Pen Gone Missing
Ronald McDonald, 3:00PM
