Get Connected with Free Computer Classes!

MCALLEN, TX – Is your experience using a computer limited? Do you feel like computer terms are written in a different language? Get connected with free computer classes at McAllen Public Library!

The library invites patrons with little to no computer experience to attend a series of introductory computer classes. The classes will be offered free of charge at the Main Library, 601 N. Main St., McAllen, from February 7th to April 30th.

“Get Connected” features four classes: 1) Computer Basics, 2) Internet Basics, 3) Email Basics, and 4) Resume Basics. Each class will run for approximately one and a half hours and be taught by a skilled library staff member.

Space is limited, so in-person registration is required, beginning January 30th, at the first floor reference desk of the Main Library. Only adults aged 18 years and older may register.
