MPL to Offer Free Computer Basics Class

MCALLEN, TX – McAllen Public Library invites all adults to attend its Computer Basics Class, taught by Continuing, Professional, and Workforce Education at South Texas College.

Choose any or all of these topics to attend: computer basics, Internet basics, email basics & social media basics. Each class covers one topic & lasts four hours.

Dates: Computer Basics: Mondays, October 8, 15 & 22
            Internet Basics: Wednesdays, October 10 & 17
            Email Basics: Wednesday, October 24 & Monday, October 29
            Social Media Basics: Wednesday, October 31
Time: 9:00AM-1:00PM
Location: Electronic Classroom A, Main Library, corner of N. 23rd St. and Nolana Ave.
Cost: Free
Registration: Required; contact info below

Continuing Education credits and a Digital Literacy certificate are available upon completion. Class instructors are bilingual.

Please note that there is a limited class space.

A McAllen Public Library borrower card & PIN are required.
