McAllen Public Library (MPL) is proud to announce the return of the South Texas Book Festival (STBF), taking place from October 20-31, 2025 throughout MPL locations. Now in its 11th year, this multi-day celebration brings thousands of readers together for author sessions, fun activities, and shared experiences that reflect the stories and spirit of our region.
With the theme, "Celebrate Our Roots & Stories," STBF centers on the power of honoring where we come from and the stories that shape who we are. Through author talks, book signings, and engaging conversations, the festival continues to build a space where readers connect, reflect, and grow.
