The South Texas International Book Festival (STIBF) brings together readers, writers, and storytellers for a day focused on books and storytelling. Rio Grande Valley authors are invited to apply for 2026 STIBF Presents programming, including the Local Author Showcase and Read Around Town Week. Selected participants will take part in readings, discussions, storytimes, workshops, book sales, and signings at McAllen Public Library.
