All McAllen Public Library branches will host a variety of engaging events throughout the week, including storytime, crafts, and activities, along with appearances from special guests and community partners. Don’t miss out on celebrating Pet Week with Marty the Cat, McAllen Public Library's mascot!

Vida Verse: A Celebration of South Texas Poets

The festival will kick off on Thursday evening with a literary event celebrating poets from South Texas. Featuring renowned Rio Grande Valley poets César L. de León, Javier Villarreal, Julieta Corpus, and Gume Laurel III.
